Hannah Bauhoff

Hannah Bauhoff initiated and founded the international network of design journalists in 2009. The 44-year-old Meisterschülerin of the Berlin Weissensee School of Art studied design, architecture and culture management at the Werkbund Werkstatt and at art colleges in Germany and France. Since completing her diploma, she has been working as a freelance journalist and a (chief) editor for German architecture and design magazines. In parallel, she carries on research in design, consults international companies in matters of design mediation and communication analysis – and teaches at art colleges and vocational colleges. In 2013, she was appointed to the jury of the Saxon State Prize for Design 2014 and 2016 and as a member of the jury of the Deutsche Designer Club (DDC) for the competition “Gute Gestaltung”. Hannah lives and works near Kiel.

MADE
